Hi everyone. I need to move as soon as possible, preferably before September. I have a 3 bed in Coton that was fully refurbished just over a year ago. Because the council used a water based paint after the plaster had dried we are unable to wash the walls yet and they will all need repainting except for 2 walls in the living room and the smallest of the three bedrooms. The council are due to come and assess the cracks and fill them. We were not suppose to paint until they have done that. The back garden is private and fully fenced in and very safe. It does need a little tlc but not alot. The front garden is of a decent size but not to big and easily manageable. The kitchen and diner are all in one and a very nice size. There is also a downstairs loo. The lounge is quite large and carpeted. There is a bathroom/loo upstairs. The master bedroom is big enough to have a double bed, double wardrobe, baby cot and his small dresser and 2 bed side cabinets. Still has a decent amount of walking room. The 2nd bedroom is just as wide but not quite as long as the master bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is the smallest but could easily fit in a set of bunk beds and a large dresser. The pre-school and primary school (Coton Primary) are a 5 minute walk away and is one of the top schools in the county. The secondary school, Comberton Village College( also one of the best), is a short bus ride away and the children are collected at 8 a.m. every morning outside the house. There is a regular bus route into Cambridge and takes only 15 minutes. There is also a FREE tescos bus that goes to Bar Hill on a Tuesday morning at 9:40 and brings you back at 11:30. It has quick easy access to the M11. It is the perfect village to raise a family and the people are very nice. I will hate to leave here but we need to get closer to if not into Cambridge because my 7 year old son had learning difficulties and needs to go the special needs school, The Castle School, in September. I want to be closer to him in case he needs me. I guess I am just being a paranoid over protective mum. LOL. I would like to swap with someone who has a 4 bedroom house that is a bit closer to the City Centre. A downstairs loo would be a bonus. We would prefer to have that because my 7 year old tends to forget that he has to go and leaves it a bit long. Therefore having a loo downstairs would help him alot. If anyone thinks that they can help please get in touch. I do not mind being part of a multi-swap either. So please please if you think you can help in any way I will look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for reading.
